On the way from Dubai to Sharjah, we found a little local restaurant hidden in a small lane. No English menu, staff there didn’t speak English either. We had to use our very limited Arabic to order. But what we got was surprisingly good, the appetizer itself was just prosperous! Apart from a huge plate of fresh salad (with whole bunch of spring onions, big green chilies, and big uncut tomatoes), there were colorful pickles, pile of pita bread, lentil soup and fried pita crisp. It was serious delicious. To be honest, by the time the mouth-watering kebab came, I was already full.
