Middle Eastern magazines to watch

There are quite a few interesting regional magazines for your spare time. My favorite is Brownbook. As says on their website, the monthly is “an urban guide to the Middle East”, with original stories of the Arab people, food, art and design. The headquarter of the magazine is in Dubai. If you also read Monocle magazine, it won’t be hard to see the similarities Brownbook shares with the UK monthly in style.

Harper’s Bazaar Art Middle East is another magazine worth keeping an eye on. It covers all the important art and design events and features of the Arab world.

Started reading Canvas recently and found it interesting too.

Another magazine I get occasionally is We Are Here, a photographic quarterly that dedicated to a different city each issue. The unusual A5 size of the magazine makes it a handy pocket reading.
